Here we have a project that just finished the design stage. There were two objectives to be met. One was a project that encompasses an end table, the other was to design for a dining room buffet. Both objectives were met, only the end table is being shown here, as it is now under construction.

"Cup Cake" End Table
Two uses are incorporated in this design. One is to be used as a traditional end table alongside a bed, or at the end of a couch.
This table is in the design stage, with a couple of uses in mind. One is to be used as a traditional end table alongside a bed, or at the end of a couch.
If the cabinet height were increased, and the side panels were use, the basic design could be converted to a buffet.
The other use is as a buffet. This would call for a design that would increase the height, and gain access to the two rounded ends, so that they might be used for storage. These design considerations could allow this to become a statement piece.
